The S2020 is a 20x20x12ft (6.1x6.1x3.66m, 400 sq ft) zero-foundation, clear-span arch storage shelter engineered with heavy-duty galvanized steel tubing and an oversized 14ft x 10.5ft (4.26m x 3.2m) drive-through door. Complete with heavy-duty ground earth augers (and compatible with precast concrete Lego block walls), it erects in hours directly onto dirt or gravel without poured concrete—delivering the ultimate, cost-effective covered solution for tractor implement parking, full-size truck/boat storage, hay protection, and on-site contractor maintenance bays.

4.Do I need a concrete foundation to install this S2020 shelter?
No, a concrete foundation is not required. Every S2020 kit comes standard with heavy-duty ground anchor stakes/augers included in the package. You can erect the shelter directly onto compacted dirt, grass, asphalt, or gravel in hours. Alternatively, if mounting on a poured slab or precast concrete blocks (Lego blocks), standard mechanical expansion bolts can be utilized through the pre-drilled baseplates.
5.What is the main difference between the 300g PE fabric and the 610g PVC fabric?
The 300g (11oz) PE fabric is an economical, lightweight woven cover designed for agricultural hay and temporary vehicle storage with an expected lifespan of 3–5 years. The 610g (22oz) PVC fabric is a heavy-duty commercial ripstop membrane with an internal polyester scrim and thick plasticized coatings. It is certified flame-retardant (NFPA 701), substantially more puncture-resistant, self-cleaning in rain, and carries an extended service life of 8–10+ years under heavy sun and snow.

It utilizes a heavy-duty roll-up curtain gate with reinforced structural wind-bars. The door is equipped with industrial-grade mechanical tensioning straps and lower lock-down anchor rings, allowing a single worker to roll the door up effortlessly and secure it overhead in seconds. When closed, the overlapping weather-flap skirts seal flush against the steel doorframe, and heavy-duty bottom pocket bars weigh the curtain down, preventing wind gusts from billowing the door open and keeping rain, leaves, and blowing dust completely out of your workshop.
7.How reliable are the included ground earth anchors in dirt or grass? Will high winds pull the shelter out of the ground?
Engineered for exceptional pull-out resistance up to 80–90 km/h winds. Every S2020 kit includes heavy-duty, deep-embedment auger spiral earth anchors (approx. 700–800mm in length). The helical spiral plates screw deeply into undisturbed soil, creating a massive inverted cone of earth resistance that prevents vertical uplift. Combined with perimeter heavy-duty ratchets that strap the galvanized baseplates tightly to each anchor head, the shelter anchors rigidly into packed earth, grass, or gravel. For hurricane-prone or open coastal zones, extra concrete footings can easily be added under the corner posts.
