Description
Intermediate Twist Lock is a critical marine container lashing component. It is installed between upper and lower stacked ISO shipping containers on cargo ships.
By manually turning the handle, both upper and lower locking heads engage container corner castings firmly to prevent containers shifting or tipping during ocean transportation.
Both the housing and the lock shaft are made by forging process, ensuring superior strength, durability, and impact resistance.
Hot-dip galvanized steel body offers excellent anti-corrosion performance in saltwater marine environment.
The manual twist-lock can sustain up to 500 kilonewtons of tension pressure, and up to 2000 KN of compression force! The heaviest shipping containers can still be secured and maintained with this lock.
