Description
Container lashing twist lock allows two corner castings to be connected together vertically to fix safely container, when container is being transported in sea or on land.
The container bridge fittings are used to secure containers together that are side by side.
Shipping container bridge fitting are primarily used in the shipping industry to ensure safe transport of shipping containers on ship but are widely used when two shipping containers need to be securely connect together horizontally.
The length of the bridge fitting can be customized according to customer's requirements.
There are two types: Standard Type 260mm and Larger Type 380mm which are the most popular.
The bridge fittings would prevent the containers from shifting and would allow for the sealing of the roof joint of the two containers. They do so by securing the corner cubes together by turning the center bolt with a wrench. You then secure a nut against one of the hooks to prevent the fitting from loosening.
Container bridge fittings are not to be used for securing two stacked containers together as the hooks don't close enough to secure them even when tightened all the way. They are only to be used for containers that are side by side.
